In the summer the village holds a Cyprus night in the square every Wednesday. It is enjoyed by the locals and tourists alike, making it a true Cypriot experience. There are several family run tavernas and restaurants in the village serving good quality Cypriot food.

Pissouri Village still retains its traditional character with a pedestrianised central area. There is a Greek Orthodox Church, a good bakery and butchers, postal agency, banks and small supermarkets.
Pissouri Bay is just a 5 minute drive from the village. It has its own selection of tavernas, supermarkets and bars. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Watersports are available and the beach boasts a “Blue Flag” status.
